(Note: If you look at the statement on the next question, it says: "The nurse administered the client’s oral acetaminophen and placed the client on oxygen". This is because it takes time for the po meds Acetaminophen to be absorbed and start working and patient placed on O2 for the dyspnea (B for breathing). These measures are done first so that the patient is already absorbing the meds and receiving O2 while the nurse is still getting the ice packs, cooling blanket, IV fluids and EKGs done)
